Welcome to the Two’s Class!
Ms. Cathy been working in Child Care for over 15 years and has been with El Rio for 4 years. She is the Two’s teacher.
Ms. Sofia has been with El Rio for a year. She is the Teacher Aid.

In the Two’s Class, the kids will be learning how to interact with other kids. They will learn how to share. We follow a lesson plan every week and have it hanging in our class for parents to see. Every week is a different theme. We will introduce their ABC’s, Numbers and Colors. They will also be given a project everyday that the student and teacher will do together one on one. They will learn how to color and also learn how to use glue and paste collages together. Everyday we have circle time for 20 mins and we go over our ABC’s, Numbers and Colors and Shapes. During circle time we also read books, and sing songs and dance with them. We have different centers in the class room that they are able to play together. We go outside for 30 mins where they are able to play with outdoor toys, We teach them how to use their fine motor skills like kicking and throwing a ball to each other.

We do diaper changing every 2 hours or if needed sooner. Parents have to provide diapers and wipes.

We also provide Potty Training at 2 1/2 years old. If we see the student is interested before 2 1/2 years old we will start working with them.

Our class ratio is 1-8 kids for one teacher and 8-16 kids for two teachers.
